Congratulations to the Sabres badminton team on their performance at the LDAA “North” finals this past Saturday.

 JE came away with 13 first place finishes and two 2nd place finishes out of 15 categories!

Congratulations to the Sabres badminton team on their performance at the Dansereau Meadows tournament last night.  Out of 10 categories, JE Lapointe won 8 golds.  We also had several silver and bronze medal winners.

We are looking for someone to play the dead guy in our school play. If you are good and lying very still, you would be perfect for the role! You must be available for practices Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and on May 31st for our performances. Tryouts will begin next week. Sign up outside the drama room.

Grade nine students. Please have your High School course planners with you this morning and listen to announcements throughout the morning. Your class will be called down to the library computers to complete the registration sometime between 10 and noon.

Don’t be sad like Mr. Slade about the Oilers loss last night.  The boys were just getting their playoff feet wet!  Wear your Oilers jerseys tomorrow, even though there is no school, and Mr. Slade will guarantee the win!

Grade 8 & 9 band members are reminded that the bus is leaving for the Leduc Music Festival at 8am tomorrow. This means you need to arrange a ride to school so you can be here by 7:45am. If you are not here by 8am, the bus will be leaving without you. Please also remember to be dressed in black and white for your performance.

The Grade 8 & 9 band members are also asked to bring homework, study material or a book to read for class this morning.

The school talent show will be taking place Friday, June 9th this year. Sign up will not happen until later this month.This is just your heads up to start practicing and putting your act together!

You will be taking attendance with Mrs. Baron, loading up your instruments into parent vehicles, then getting on the bus, so bring all that you need for the morning performance.

The Leduc Music Festival performances are coming up tomorrow, Thursday and Friday this week. All band and choir members must complete online permission forms. Please remind your parents that the online permission form must be completed today!

Mrs. Baron needs to meet with the students performing tomorrow at the morning break. This means all solos and duets performing tomorrow morning, must please see Mrs. Baron in Room 115 today.

Band students are reminded that the buses will be leaving early on Thursday and Friday morning, so you need to be at school by 8am, dressed in black and white.

The band room will be open for practice today at lunch, so please drop in and see Mrs. Baron if you have any questions regarding the festival.

Skateboards/scooters - we will officially open the outside storage area tomorrow.  Just a reminder the no skateboards and scooters are allowed in the school.
