Sparks sign up will take place today at 12:10.

The following practices will be taking place in the music room this week over the lunch hour; Grade 4 choir practice is today at 12:10 in the music room. Jazz band practice is tomorrow at 12:10 in the music room. Band members are asked to bring their lunch to the music room so we can eat and get playing right away please.

Today is Hot Lunch - Boston Pizza  Students from 6D and 6E can pick up their orders at the end of the day.

There is a parent meeting for all junior high band families tonightat 7pm. This meeting is about the Whistler trip, so students are reminded to encourage their parnets to attend.

Any students that have recorder order forms are asked to return them to Mrs. Baron this week please.

There will not be a volleyball practice today at noon for the boys and girls who are not on a team.

The premier boys and girls have their league games at Coloniale after school today.  All premier boys volleyball team members must meet Mrs. Duru & Miss Fedor at the front of the school at 3:20pm.

We are looking for two scorekeepers for tonight’s volleyballs games.  Please see Mr. Mistol if you are interested. District girls have a practice today at 12:10 and play tonight here at J.E. Come cheer on the girls!

The District boys volleyball team has their league game in Devon after school today. All district boys volleyball team members must meet Mr. Bohun at 10:40 this morning in room 101 for a meeting.

If there are any girls in Gr. 7 & 8 who are not on a volleyball team but would like to play some ball this season, please see Mrs. Duru in room 111 at 12:30.

September theory and practice was due last week. Please get yours signed and handed in by tomorrow!

Noon hour music practices are now as follows. Open Band practice on Mondays, Grade 6, 7, 8 Choir on Tuesdays at 12:25, Grade 5 choir on Wednesdays at 12:10 and Grade 4 Choir on Thursdays at 12:10 and Jazz Band on Fridays at 12:25. This means that today is Grade 4 Choir. Any students who signed up are to come to the music room at the 12:10 bell for practice.

Any band students who have their Whistler forms are reminded to hand them in to Mrs. Baron this week please. The forms need to be returned in order for the trip to go ahead and as of yesterday, only 21 forms had been returned. This Friday is the deadline, so the trip will be cancelled should the forms not make it in by then. Any choir students who have their permission form are also asked to hand in to Mrs. Baron this week as well.

Last call for permission forms for X-Country Races.  Please hand in your forms to Mme McCallion as soon as possible.

Due to the large number of students who signed up for choir there are going to be three choirs this year. Grade 6, 7, 8 Choir on Tuesdays at 12:25, Grade 5 choir on Wednesdays at 12:10 and Grade 4 Choir on Thursdays at 12:10 and Jazz Band on Fridays at 12:25. Today is Grade 5 Choir. Anyone who signed up or is interested in singing, please come to the music room at the 12:10 bell.

District Boys Volleyball will be playing their first league game today after school here at home. Boys head to the gym right after school to get ready and help set up.

Good luck to the premier girls volleyball team who will be playing their first game of the season today after school at Coloniale!! The premier girls are reminded to please meet in Miss Haylets room right after school.
