• Congratulations to all the students who ran in the John Bole Classic X-Country Race on Saturday. We had several top ten finishers.  Well done everyone!

•  Mrs. Duru will be taking a group of students and parents to the Ronald McDonald House to volunteer cook on October 15th. Please see her tomorrow to get a permission form, if you are interested in going.

• The premier boys will have practice after school today.

•  Congratulations to the JEL Sabres Run for the Cure team. Yesterday they walked and ran 5km to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. As of today, our total is over $1500!

• Tomorrow the grade eight students are going on a field trip to the Telus World of Science. This is a reminder to all grade eight students to bring a lunch that does not require a microwave.

• Reminder to all Home Ec students that are working on projects, the home ec room is closed today but will be open every morning at 7:30 am for anyone that wants to come in. The room will also be open on Wednesday and Friday afterschool.

• Students that want to order classy Thread sewing kits are to get their money and forms into Mrs. Nessel by Wednesday so that they can be ordered before the weekend.

• Reminder - premier girls volleyball practice after school today.

• Reminder that there is a District girls and Boys volleyball practice today at 12:10.

• Would the Run for the Cure team please make sure to bring Mr. Slade their permission forms to Mr. Slade today.  In addition, enjoy your Sunday and stay warm while raising awareness and money for breast cancer research.

• Good luck to all students who are participating in the John Bole X-Country race tomorrow. Please make sure to arrive ½ hr before the race.

• A huge congratulations goes out to the Premier Boys’ volleyball team! They came out strong last night during their first league games, winning 6 of their 9 sets. Way to go, gentlemen! Please remember that you have a practice today at 3:45. If you can’t make it please talk to Miss Fedor or Mrs. Duru some time today.

• Students who will be running in the X-Country Race on Saturday must hand in their permission forms today to Mme McCallion.  Late forms will not be accepted, so please see Mme McCallion right away.

• There will be no running practice today after school due to the staff meeting.

• Congratulations to the premier girls volleyball team for winning 8 out of 9 sets last night at Coloniale! Awesome job ladies! Reminder to bring your jerseys to Miss Stewart. Practice Thursday morning at 7am.

• The Home Ec room will be open until 4:15 Wednesday and Friday for any student that would like to come in and work on projects.The room will not be open this Wed. due to early dismissal.

• Serving practice is at 12:10 for District volleyball teams.  Premier volleyball teams will be having a practice.

• If you are not currently on a volleyball team, but would like to play volleyball this year, please see Mrs. Duru in the gym at 12:10.

• School picture orders are due Thursday. If retakes are required, hold onto your proof form and bring to retake day on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

• District Boys Volleyball meeting at 12:10 in the gym. You’ll be receiving your jerseys so you don’t want to be late.

• Last call!  All students who are interested in running in a X-country race in Leduc must come and pick up a permission form from Mme McCallion today.  These forms must be in by tomorrow.
