Boys badminton try-outs are tomorrow morning at 7:15am.   Good luck to the boys and girls district basketball teams on their games in Hobbema tonight.  Can all players please meet in the front foyer at 2:50pm.

If you are playing a solo, duet or small group in the Leduc Music Festival, sign up sheets for this week are posted in the music room. Please come at first recess or at lunch to sign yourself up for a time.   New sign up sheets will be going up every week, so please be sure to check in and sign yourself up for an individual practice time.

Starting next Wednesday, March 6th, the Grade 7 & 8 students in the Whistler band will be having noon hour practices. Please come to the music room at 12:10 for a 30 minute practice. Bring your lunch as you will play first, then eat.

Today is Milk Monday. Teachers are asked to send a runner down to pick up their milk, as well as return the yellow bins. The yellow bins need to be returned as soon as the milk is handed out. Students are also asked to rinse out their milk cartons and put into the classroom green bins.

Code Club is Wednesday after school.

Congratulations to our grade 5 and 6 students who participated in the Edmonton Journal Games yesterday.  All four races were amazing to watch!  Both girls’ teams finished third in their races, and both boys’ teams placed first in their races.  We are very proud of their success!  Thank you very much to the parents that came to help out and cheer us on, and also thanks to Mme deRuiter who also came to help out.

The District Girls basketball team had a tough game last night against first place, Leduc Junior High.  JE held them to only 35 points and had a great second half! Well done ladies.  District girls will have a quick meeting in rm 103 at 10:40 today.

Any Outdoor Ed. Students that are participating in the climbing and scuba field trip are asked to see Mrs. Baron today during 1st break or during lunch to pick up some very important information regarding the trip.

Mrs. Baron would like to thank all the choir members that have been coming to practice. Your commitment is appreciated.   Sadly, there have been many other choir members that have been not keeping their commitment to coming to practice. If you and your parents signed a permission form and the commitment section, you are required to attend practices.
