Whistler trip band members are reminded to hand in their fundraising packages today. Be sure to include your order forms and payment please. If you have forgotten yours at home, please check in with Mrs. Baron to make alternate arrangements.

Sign up sheets will be available for any band students performing solos, duets or quartets at the Leduc Music Festival starting this week.

Mrs. Baron needs to meet with the choir members singing Oh Canada at the Brier for a short meeting first recess today. She also has some important information about your performance, so please remember to come.

A reminder to all Home Ec. sewing students who wish to order a stuffed animal kit are required to have their form and payment to Mrs. Slade by Friday morning. All other sewing projects and material need to be here next week.

Congratulations to our grade 5 and 6 students who participated in the Edmonton Journal Games yesterday.  All four races were amazing to watch!  Both girls’ teams finished third in their races, and both boys’ teams placed first in their races.  We are very proud of their success!  Thank you very much to the parents that came to help out and cheer us on, and also thanks to Mme deRuiter who also came to help out.

Music room practice schedule is as follows and homeroom teachers are asked write a reminder on the board for their students please;   Today – Open for band practice all lunch hour Thursday – Choir part one AND part two @ 12:10 Friday- Jazz band @ 12:13   Choir members please note the practice is for BOTH parts on Thursday. Everyone is asked to attend so write it in your agenda and don’t forget your music!

Jr. High girls badminton try-outs begin tomorrow morning at 7:15am.  The boys first try-out will be on Friday morning.

All Jr. High boys PE will be at the arena today.
