Anyone interested in helping Miss Jensen with a drama production for the Remembrance Day ceremony should sign up outside of Room 105 (Drama room).

Congratulations to the Junior boys on their win against Coloniale yesterday. There will be a short practice today at 12:14.

the students going scuba diving today
the students going to Camp Evergreen tomorrow

A reminder that there WILL NOT be junior jazz tomorrow as the Grade 7’s are heading to Camp Evergreen before school

The JR Girls volleyball team will be playing tonight in our gym. come cheer on the Sabres.

For Flex, all students are reminded that you must complete your goals in your Flex duotang and take this duotang to each of your sessions this morning.  Your teachers may ask to see what it is you are working on.  As well, all students must take everything they need to work on for each of the sessions. For all core support sessions, collaboration, and quiet room, you must have some work to do. Finally, students please remember you must go only to those sessions that you are registered in.

Today is Election Day! Come down to Room 101 at your appointed time to vote. See your Social Studies teacher for more details.

Lego club will be starting up again Monday Oct 19th, in room 107.  It will continue most Monday’s until June.

Student Vote Week is next week! If you would like to volunteer for our polling station, please see Mlle Lawrence as soon as possible. You can gain some valuable experience to add to your résumé!

Band practice for September is now due

There are still a few chocolate milk left over from Milk Monday, so come on down to the band room at lunch if you have a loonie and want to buy a chocolate milk! And if Mrs. Baron’s volunteers can come sell again, that would be great!

Also, just a reminder to all our students that every Monday, there will be milk for sale to help raise money for the junior high band trip. There will not be pre-orders like in past years, so just bring a loonie or toonie every Monday so you can buy a milk

Mrs. Baron would like to see all the students going to Camp Evergreen during the morning break.

This is to sign up for rooms and activities, so please remember to come. If you don’t Mrs. Baron will assign your room and activity group.

Congratulations to the Jr Premier boys & girls volleyball teams for both winning 4 out of 5 games against Clear Vista. Great teamwork Sabres!

If you gave your name to be on the French Band can you make sure to go have a look at your e-mail and answer the questions that Mme LaBrie asked by Friday. Merci.

Junior boys if you have your consent forms please bring to the office right after announcements.

This is a reminder for the Run for the Cure team to wear your t-shirts tomorrow for assembly during Period 3.

This is a reminder that all students in grades 7 and 8 are required to remain on school grounds during the noon hour. Only grade 9 students who have a note from their parents may leave school grounds at noon.  Please be sure that you follow this expectation.

Tomorrow is early dismissal at 2:17pm.

Today is World Teachers`Day.  We thank each of our teachers for their dedication to ongoing learning and student support.  Students, please make sure to thank your teachers today!

A big thank you goes out to all students who participated in The Run for the Cure.  It was a great time raising money and awareness for breast cancer with 9000 other people!  Our team, the Sabres Squad raised over $3000!

A reminder that all boys PE classes will be outside for the next two weeks.  Please bring a hoodie to class.

Any Jr. Development volleyball players that have not yet paid for their t-shirt need to get their  money in to Mr. Mistol by the end of today.

Today is the first milk Monday of this school year. Chocolate and white milk will be sold in the hall by the music room over the lunch hour, so bring a loonie and come get a milk.

Any students that returned their forms to go scuba diving during FLEX time on Oct. 14th must come to the music room tomorrow at lunch to watch the Discover Scuba video. Please bring your lunch to the music room at the 12:14 bell. Remember, this is a mandatory meeting for all students that signed up, so please make a note of it. If you do not come to watch the video, you will not be allowed to dive on Oct. 14th. And there is only one spot left for the Oct. 14th date. If you have your form, bring to Mrs. Baron please

Mr. Slade would like to thank all the students for happy birthday wishes, songs, high fives, and group hugs.  It was nice to feel the love.  Unfortunately, his birthday is actually in August.  Good prank Mr. Mistol.

A huge congratulations goes out to the Senior Girls’ volleyball team who won 3 of their 5 games last night at Clear Vista! Way to go ladies!

Congrats to the Senior Boys Volleyball team who won all 5 of their games vs Clear Vista last night. Great job fellas!
