Grade 8 students: our annual trip to the Citadel to see A Christmas Carol is on Wed, Nov 30. Please remind your parents to go onto PowerSchool to sign the permission form and pay the field trip fee.
Attention Grade 8 & 9 Band students: There is a change in Construction 9 & Foods 8 for this week. These classes are only being offered during period 4 & 5 for the band students, so any band students in Construction 9 and Foods 8 are to go to the combined practice period 3 in the band room. There will be a serving practice for any student who plays on a volleyball team today at 12:34. All members of the Senior Boys’ volleyball team should attend this serving practice. There will also be a Senior boys’ volleyball practice today at 3:30pm.
FLEX - all students need to be signed up! Teachers, please check your homeroom lists and ensure that all students have signed up correctly. Students, it is your responsibility to be careful when you sign up and know which sessions you are requesting.
There will be a Halloween Bake Sale this Friday at lunch. All money raised will be going towards the Niagara Falls Music fest trip this spring, so thank you for supporting the band.

Top hat contest!
Any students that want to be put in “the win your own steampunk thing’ draw should write their first and last name, and homeroom on a piece of paper provided to their homeroom teacher. On Monday, Oct 31, during the Halloween activities, a name from each grade and the staff will be picked and they are declared the winners.The prizes are: 2 top hats, a lightbulb spider and a steampunk’d bottle. If your name is chosen, you will be able to pick one of these prizes from the table.
