The premier basketball teams have issued a challenge to the teachers and think that they can defeat them in a basketball game.  If you are interested in finding out who wins, the game will take place on Tuesday at lunch. Elementary students are welcome to watch from 1210 -1230 and the junior high students are welcome from 1230-1250.

Congratulations and well done to all the Speech Arts students. You have represented ÉJELS superbly, with several students receiving awards and scholarships. Thank-you to the teacher-coaches who helped prepare our students for the competition.

Band 6, Band 7, Band 8 and the Jazz Band are reminded that their festival performance is tomorrow. Please be at the school by 8:00am. And don’t forget to wear black and white.

Congratulations to our school choirs yesterday. They did a fantastic job on their performances and won 2 trophies. Great job choir!   Good luck to our school bands and the students playing solos, duets and quartets tomorrow.   Any band or choir members that still have not handed in their permission form and payment are reminded to do so today please.

Grade 5 students are reminded of the band information meeting tonight. If you are thinking of taking band next year, please write a reminder note in your agenda and come to the meeting at 7pm with your parents.
