There will be a short meeting TODAY at the morning break for any Grade 7 Band members going to Camp Evergreen next week. Please come to Room 115 at the morning break.

Tomorrow is the absolute last day for grade 9 students to hand in their immunization forms.

 

 FLEX - Sign up for tomorrow is as follows:  block 1 or 2: grade 7, block 3 or 4: grade 8, grade 9 anytime after block 5.  Students, please be careful when selecting your homeroom to ensure the correct one is entered!

French Band practice after school today.

Grade 9’s if you have not handed in your immunization forms please be sure to do so NO LATER than tomorrow (Thursday).  All forms are to be returned even if you are not receiving the immunization.

A reminder that there will be a choir practice tomorrow at 12:14

Any students interested in being one of the speakers for the school Remembrance Day ceremony should let Mrs. Baron know by the end of this week.

7A and 7D girls DO NOT have to change for PE today. Please go to Room 115 for your class.

There will be a Senior boys’ volleyball practice today 3:02-4:30

At 12:34, any student who plays on the   junior or senior volleyball team can attend serving practice in the gym.

The  Senior Boys’ volleyball team traveled to Leduc to play yesterday.  Congrats for playing hard in a  couple of tough, close games against LJH and Queen E school.  There will be a Senior boys’ volleyball practice today from 3:30-5:00pm.

7A and 7D girls are to change for gym, then meet Mrs. Baron in room 115 this morning. Be sure to dress warm. It’s cold outside!  
      
Oil King’s game is tonight!! Puck drops at 7 o’clock. Students taking the bus, please be at school at 5:20 pm as the bus will be leaving school at 5:30 pm.

WATERPOLO!!!!!! It is very important if you are interested in attending next week, you need to have forms into Mrs Gabriel or Mrs. Dorash right after these announcements!  If we don’t enough interest it will be cancelled.

FLEX sign up today - grade 9’s - block 1 or 2, grade 7’s block 3 or 4, grade 8’s anytime after that.  Please come to the library at 12:34 to sign up if you have not been able to sign up during the morning.

Couple reminders:
Please take shoes off if they are dirty
Remain in homeroom during lunch - no wandering into other classrooms or the hall
dress for the cold weather and be prepared to go outside at lunch

There will be a choir practice today for anyone interested. Come to the music room with your lunch at 12:14. Singing starts at 12:34!

French Band first practice afterschool on Thursday

Teachers are noticing excessive dirt on the floors in their classrooms and in the gym from student shoes being worn outside. Please be reminded that you are expected to change shoes if the pair you wear to school or the pair you wear outside at lunch get dirty.

There will be a choir practice at lunch on Thursday for any interested students!

There will be an optional  volleyball practice for any students who are playing on a junior or senior volleyball team today at lunch.

There is a senior boys volleyball practice at 3:30 today.  Please do not go in the gym to warm up until 3:30.

A huge congratulations to the senior ladies’ volleyball team for their amazing playing at the Ardrossan tournament over the weekend. We proudly walked away with the silver medal in a hard fought final match. Excellent job girls!

Congratulations to the Run for the Cure participants who ran, walked, and crawled 5 km yesterday to raise money for breast cancer research.  In addition, thanks to Mrs. Ivanc, Mrs. Restau, and Mrs. Joinson for lending a helping hand.
