  • Sewing / textile students - projects are due on Wed. The home ec room will be open Tuesday and Wed after school, and every morning at 7:30 am.
  • Premier Girls basketball practice will be Tuesday at 7:20am.  Please be on time.
  • District Girls basketball will practice today at lunch (12:10).  We are playing at Coloniale tomorrow after school.
  • Premier boys basketball team has a practice today after school.  Both the premier boys and girls host Christ the King on Wednesday some come out and cheer them on.

  • Great job to the premier girls basketball players and congratulations on defeating Coloniale last night.  Your Monday morning practice has been changed to Tuesday morning.
  • Congratulations to the Premier Boys Basketball Team on their win over Coloniale last night.  Your next practice is Monday at 3:20.  
  • Congratulations to the district boys basketball team on their 49-18 win over Pigeon Lake last night!  Your next practice will be on Monday morning at 7:15am.

  • The bake sale is happening today over the lunch hour in the front foyer of the school. One special note is that there will be some gluten free goodies for sale too! Junior high students can buy from 12:10 - 12:30 and elementary students can buy from 12:30 - 12:50. Bring your loonie to help support the junior high band trip.
  • ATTENTION Jasper Ski trip - The “ return by” date on the green rental form is is wrong. The date should say return by JANUARY 29 NOT Feb. 29.Please return these forms by Wednesday of next week.
  • The home ec room will not be open after school tonight.The room is open every morning at 7:30 am and Tuesday and Wednesday next week until 4:30pm for anyone that wants to come in and complete their project. All sewing and textile projects are due next Wednesday.
  • Journal Games practice for elementary and junior high students at 12:10 in the gym.
  • All of Mr. Mistol’s PE classes will be back at the arena next week.  Make sure to bring your gear.

  • District girls need to make sure they turn their transportation permission forms to Mrs. Verheoff first thing this morning!  We will be meeting in the front foyer right at 3:15.  Good luck to the boys and girls as they travel to Pigeon Lake this afternoon.
  • Mini girls basketball practice at noon.
  • Good luck to the Premier Boys and Girls Basketball Teams in their games against Coloniale today.  Would the boys team please meet in Mr. Slade’s room for a quick meeting at 12:30.
  • If there are any students interested in scorekeeping the Premier girls and boys games at JEL tonight please see Mrs Dorash at ten minute break this morning. Premier Girls please meet in the gym right afterschool ready to go.
  • Any DRAMA students who have their costumes or props here are welcome to drop them off in room 112.
  • All Rabbit Hill Ski nights are now full. Thanks to everyone that has registered.
  • Jasper bus #2 - We need 20 more students to bring in forms and money in order to book bus number 2. Please bring these in as soon as possible to ensure that bus #2 can happen!

  • Speech Arts students: Several teachers have graciously volunteered to help coach you to victory! A very special thank-you to Mrs. Schwer, Ms. Collett, Mlle Lawrence, Mr. Bohun, Ms Ferchau, Ms Alexander, Ms Fedor, Mrs Tonita and Mme Lapointe for giving of their time to help these students be in top shape for the competition in April.

  • Reminder to anyone that wants to order a sewing kit from Mrs. Nessel to please bring down their form and money today. If you wanted to order a kit and forgot to bring your money please go talk to Mrs. Nessel. All sewing  and textile students need their supplies for next week.
  • Reminder that the home ec room is open every morning and select days after school for anyone that wants to come in and finish projects. All projects are due at the end of the month.
  • Optional Junior High homework room - today 3:20 until 4 rm 103, tomorrow 7:45 - 8:15 am in the home ec rm.

  • Congratulations to the Premier Boys Basketball Team on a solid win in the opening game of their season.  Next week they host Coloniale so come on out and cheer them on.
  • Another congratulations goes out to the district boys.  They played great in their loss to a much older and bigger team.
  • Congratulations to the District Girls Basketball Team, who had a great first game, but ended up losing in overtime.  
  • Great job to the Premier girls, you put forth a great effort! Reminder you have practice Monday morning at 7:20.  Don’t be late!!
  • All elementary students who signed up to run in the Edmonton Journal Relay Games, please meet in the gym for a practice at 12:10.
  • If you want a badminton racquet by Monday, make sure to get your money in to Mr. Mistol today.
  • Jasper Ski Trip update. - The first bus is sold out. Registration forms and money are now being taken for a second bus. Bus #2 will be on sale until Feb. 10. Please get your money and form in to reserve your seat on the second bus. Please see Mrs. Nessel if you have any questions.
  • Leduc County Ski & Snowboard Experience, Saturday, February 8th. Information sheets available in the office.
  • Home ec students - Classy threads orders and money are due on Monday. If you are planning on purchasing a kit please get your order form and money to Mrs. Nessel.
