-The final grade 9 Badminton try-outs for grade 9 boys is today after school.  Please see the list on the athletic board if you need to attend.

-The first grade 7 badminton practice will be tomorrow morning at 7:10am.


This morning we welcome our school board to the school.  From 9 until 10:30 our Superintendent and school trustees will be given a tour of the school and may pop into your class to see what exciting things are going on.


All basketball players - please come to the gym at 12:26 with your uniform on. We will take pictures first and then eat!

In a hard fought game, the junior girls basketball team came up a bit short last night, but claim the silver medal this year.  Outstanding effort by all girls made it a classic final.  Well done ladies!

Pizza lunch is tomorrow for all basketball team members.

Pi Day is Saturday!  Boooo.  We will be having our Pi Competition in math class on Friday.  It is rumoured that our defending champ has memorized 314 digits.

All basketball teams!!! We will be having a pizza lunch on Thursday! Bring in your jersey for food! 
We will also be taking team pictures at the same time so it is important for everyone to attend.

Congratulations to the junior girls basketball team on a tough victory last night over Father Leduc.  Next up is the gold medal match on Tuesday!

A huge congratulations goes out to the Senior Girls basketball team who captured the gold medal and banner last night ending a spectacular shutout season and representing our school with exceptional talent and sportsmanship.

Thanks to all of the staff and students that made it out to support our kids.



We are just over a week away from Pi Day.  A tradition here is for students to recall as many digits of mathematical pi as they can.  The student with the most numbers receives a pizza pi on Pizza Tuesday.  Last year’s winner was at about 260 digits.  Can you beat her?  Can she defend her title?

Mr. Slade now has 3 pictures in for the grade nine farewell.  Keep them coming nines!
FLEX - grade 9’s you will not be signing up at all,  grade 7 and 8’s you will only sign up for block 3, we are doing a homeroom activity block 4.  Stay tuned for details.

Gr 8 - you can sign up block 1 or 2 and grade 7 break or later.

Jasper ski trip participants - be at the school between 4:00 & 4:15 am as the bus leaves at 4:30am sharp and will not wait. Those students on the Dansereau bus are reminded to be at Dansereau between 4:00 & 4:15am.

Good luck to both the senior and junior girls tonight.  The senior girls are playing for the gold medal at 4:00 so come out and cheer them on.  The junior girls follow with their semi final match.  Let’s pack the stands!

Mrs. Dorash would like to congratulate the District girls for a great season.  Although we came up a little short last night, you dealt with the situation with good sportsmanship and were excellent ambassadors for our school.  Stay tuned for a date for pictures!
