Monday, Sept 30 is Orange Shirt Day.  On this day, we reflect on the negative impact that residential schools had on so many Indigenous peoples.  In a sign of solidarity with all of those who have and continue to suffer, we encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt.

Students will not be able to cross directly in front of the school until further notice, due to the road construction.  Access will be blocked.  Please enter through the back of the school.

Student Enrollment Verification forms are due Monday, September 30. Please complete in Powerschool if you have not yet done so.

Students, until further notice, please only park your bikes at the back of the school.  Do not approach the school from the front. Do not walk across the road construction at the front of the school. Please use the back entrances to the school. Also, please walk around any of the plants that have been carefully planted at the front of our school.  Only walk on sidewalks. Please remind your parents that they are to drop off and pick up at the back of the Ken Nichol Recreation Centre.  Thank you for your cooperation.

A huge thank you and congratulations to all of the girls who participated in the University of Alberta volleyball tournament this past weekend. We played very competitive city teams finishing first in our pool, placing us in the higher tier and battled hard, narrowly missing the gold but receiving a well-earned silver for the tournament. Excellent job girls. The final team list will be posted Thursday morning.
