Monday, February 13, 2012 - Day 3

• Journal Games practice tomorrow at noon.  All participants MUST be there.

• Runners who are interested in running the Ring Road (approximately 4 km), please meet in the front foyer tomorrow after school.  We will be running every Tuesday from 3:20 until 4:00. 

• Premier boys basketball practice after school today. Premier Girls afterschool tomorrow.

• District boys basketball practice today at noon!

• Congratulations to Nate Gerhardt for winning the Knights of Columbus District Freethrow Championship over the weekend. He has won the opportunity to advance to the provincial championships against the best 11 year old shooters in the province.

• Jazz band practice today at 12:20.

• Day 2 & Day 4 Choir tomorrow at 12:00.

• Grade 7 & 8 Geography challenge will be early next week.

Wednesday, February 8, 2012 - Day 2

• Day 2 Choir is cancelled today as Mrs. Baron is away on a field trip. Day 2 Choir is asked to come next Tuesday, Feb. 14^th for practice with the Day 4 Choir.

• Band students are asked to take their instruments home today please. The janitors are waxing the music room floors this weekend so the floors need to be empty of all instruments. 

• A house key was found on the grade 7 boot rack, please come to the office to claim.

• A reminder that all Elementary boys will be skating at the arena next week.  Please bring your skates.

• Good luck to the district basketball teams today!

• Assembly this morning at approximately 10:45 am. 

Tuesday, February 7, 2012 -Day 1

• Ski club tonight. Please meet in the foyer.

• Jasper ski trip due tomorrow, please submit permission forms and money to Mrs. Nessel.

• Jr. High science midterm this morning.

• District girls basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7:20am.

• Mini basketball intramurals today at noon.

• February assembly will take place Wednesday, February 8th at approximately 11:00 am.

Monday, February 6, 2012 - Day 5

• Mini Boys and girls basketball intramurals are today at noon.

• Congratulations to the following ringette players who played at this weekends’ Edmonton Silver Ring tournament – the U14A took gold in the final and the U12C team took silver. Congratulations girls!

• Study buddies will be cancelled this week due to midterms.

Friday, February 3, 2012 - Day 4

• There will be a district boys and girls basketball practice on Monday at 7:15am.

• Deadline to register for the Jasper ski trip is Wednesday, February 8^th.

• Would the Premier Boys basketball team please meet in Mr. Slade’s room at 12:20 for a quick meeting.  It is very important that all players attend.

• Today is the final day to order badminton racquets.  All money must be in to Mr. Mistol by 9:30am this morning.

•  Congratulations to all four basketball teams on games well played.

Thursday, February 2, 2012 - Day 3

• Band members are reminded that January theory and practice were due on Monday. If you have not handed yours in, please do so by tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 3^rd. Lates will not be accepted after that date.

• Jazz band practice is today at 12:20 in the music room and Day 4 Choir will be tomorrow at 12 noon.

• Tomorrow is the last day to purchase a badminton racquet. 

• Mini basketball instramurals continue today at noon. There will be both girls and boys teams in the gym.

• Premier girls basketball players please meet in rm 103 at 12:20 for a short meeting.

• Any band students performing solos, duets, trios or quartets must give Mrs. Baron their registration and payment by tomorrow at noon. Lates CANNOT be accepted, so get your form and money in!

• Mrs. Larson’s speech arts students, please see her at 12 noon today in room 111!

• Grade 4, 5 & 6 Explorer Idol Presentation today at 10:50.

• Midterm Exams begin today.
   

Wednesday, February 1, 2012 - Day 2

• There will be a junior high boys badminton drop in practice tomorrow morning at 7:15. If you are interested in trying out for the team, please attend. See Miss Stewart or Mr. Mistol if you have any questions.

• The deadline to purchase a badminton racquet is this Friday.  Please see Mr. Mistol for more information.

• The teams for mini basketball intramurals are now posted on the athletic board outside of the gym.  Today the boys will be playing at noon.

• Any band students performing solos, duets or small groups at the Leduc Music festival must see Mrs. Baron for an important note. Please come to the music room at morning or lunch recess.

• Registration forms and money are due tomorrow for anyone that is joining the Rabbit Hill ski club next Tuesday night.

• Jasper has got the most snow out of all the  Alberta ski resort……join us – 8 spots left – Jasper ski trip. Forms and money to Mrs. Nessel ASAP

• Only 2 more days to come in and get your home ec projects done. 7AM  Thursday and Friday mornings
