Monday, March 5, 2012 - Day 1

• Beaumont Community Youth Centre April calendar is available in the office.

• Ms. Colquhoun would like to meet with Mrs. Slade’s Speech Arts Group in Room 117 at noon today. Will you also please meet Mrs. Slade TOMORROW (Day 2) at noon in the library. Thank you!

• District boys basketball practice is today at noon.

• Premier boys basketball practice is today at 3:30.

• Premier girls please meet in rm 103 at morning break today for an important mtg. Practice time for tomorrow has been changed.

• Congratulations to both the boys and girls mini basketball teams for both placing fourth at the Leduc Tiger Pride tournament this past weekend.

• Good luck t the Junior High Track Team who will be competing in the Edmonton Journal Games today at the Butterdome.  Could these students please meet in Mme McCallion’s room for a short meeting at the morning break?

• In preparation for the Leduc Music Festival coming up next month, students are asked to remember to come to their noon hour music practices this week.

Thursday, March 1, 2012 - Day 1

• PD Day tomorrow – no school

• Jasper Ski Trip participants are reminded to take home all your homework and belongings as you will not be permitted back in the school when you get back.

• Jasper ski trip – the bus departs at Friday morning 4:15 am sharp.

• Chess class – after school today! New members are welcome!

• Guitar lessons – after school  in room 119.

• Grade 6 Booster Juice will be handed out at 3:00 pm.

• Premier Girls basketball will be hosting Christ the King tonight in the first round of playoffs.

• Congratulations to the District boys and girls basketball teams on games well played.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012 - Day 4

• Band members are reminded that February theory and practice booklets are due today. Please make sure you put it in the BLUE BIN!

• Day 4 choir practice is today at 12  in the music room.

• Good luck to both district basketball teams on their first round playoff games tonight!  Come cheer them on versus Pigeon Lake!

• We are looking for two Jr. High scorekeepers for the game tonight.  Please see Mr. Mistol if interested.

• Reminder to Jasper ski trip students - the bus will leave at 4:15am not 4:30am.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 Day 3

• There are pamphlets available in the office for Telus World of Science summer camps.
• Band members are reminded to get their February theory and practice signed by tomorrow.
• Jazz band practice is today at 12:20 in the music room.
• Day 4 Choir practice is tomorrow at Noon.
• Band members are also reminded that the deadline to hand in their fundraiser order forms and money to Mrs. Baron is today!
• Premier girls basketball practice tonight 3:20 – 4:30.
• Tomorrow is pink shirt day!!! A day organized to bring awareness to the issue of  bullying.
• Junior High Journal Games practice today at noon.  All Junior High students who are participating in the Journal Games MUST be in the gym at noon.
• Reminder to all Jasper Ski Trip participants, there will be a meeting in the Home Ec room today at 12:20 pm.
• Reminder to all Outdoor Ed Students – Come to class dressed and prepared to go outside.
• Boys Mini Basketball – there will be a meeting at noon in Mr. Dargis’ office.

Monday, February 27, 2012 - Day 2

• Would the premier boys basketball team please meet in Mr. Slade’s room at 12:20 for a quick meeting. Practice at 3:30.

• Chess forms. Anyone who has their chess registration form for the next 10-week course, please drop it off with Mr. Maltais. If you are interested and need a form, please come to room 119.

• Reminder Wednesday is PINK SHIRT DAY!! Please remember to wear pink in support of anti-bullying day.

• District boys basketball practice is today at noon.

• Day 2 choir today at noon.

• No study buddies today at noon.

• VERY IMPORTANT jasper Ski Trip meeting tomorrow EVERYONE must attend as there is a Change in the itinerary.

• Outdoor Education students, please come dressed to go outside tomorrow.

Friday, February 24, 2012 - Day 1

• Congratulations to the premier boys basketball team on a well played game last night.  Would all players please meet in Mr. Slade’s room at 12:20 for a quick meeting.

• Congratulations to the District boys and girls basketball teams for games well played last night at Holy Spirit in Devon.

• Reminder to parents that school fees were due September 30. Please remit to the office as soon as possible.

Thursday, February 23, 2012 - Day 5

• All grade 6, 7 & 8 band students are reminded to get their February theory and practice booklets signed. If you have lost yours, please see Mrs. Baron for a new one as they are due next Wed. Feb. 29^th

• The premier boys basketball team is hosting Coloniale today after school.  Come cheer them on in their final game of the regular season!  Also, good luck to the district teams who will be playing at Holy Spirit tonight.

• If any junior high students are interested in scorekeeping for tonight’s game, please see Mr. Slade.

• A reminder that there are Jr. High boys badminton try-outs tomorrow morning at 7:15am.  Please check the list on the athletic board to see if you must attend.

• Mr. Slade’s kitty had a litter of kittens that he is giving away.  Please see him if you are interested.

• Anyone, yes, anyone interested in coming to check out chess is welcome to do so today after school in room 123. The next 10 week session of chess is about to begin so come see what it is all about!

• Guitar lessons will be right after school today in room 119. All GUITAR players are welcome.

• Today is Subway hot lunch!
