  • Day 2
  • District girls practice today at lunch (12:10).  Girls are reminded to bring their transportation permission forms.
  • Mini girls basketball practice today at noon followed by a game at Coloniale today right after school.
  • District boys basketball players need to get their permission slips in to Mr. Mistol.
  • Premier boys basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7:00.
  • Badminton racquets are still available for purchase.  Please see Mr. Mistol if you are interested.
  • Due to Mr. Slade’s absence, the Science Olympics meeting for today has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 3:20.
  • DIY Club is running today and tomorrow after school.
  • Mrs. Verhoeff’s drama class is reminded to bring all of their costumes and props for tomorrow’s full dress rehearsal!
  • Speech Arts students: Several teachers have graciously volunteered to help coach you to victory! You can expect them to contact you in the next few days to set up a regular day and time for practices. A very special thank-you to Mrs. Schwer, Ms. Collett, Mlle Lawrence, Mr. Bohun, Ms Ferchau, Ms Alexander, Ms Fedor, Mrs Tonita and Mme Lapointe for giving of their time to help these students be in top shape for the competition in April.

  • Day 1
  • District boys basketball practice is tomorrow morning at 7:15am.
  • Important Premier girls basketball meeting in rm 103 at 12:30 today.  All players must attend! Practice tomorrow 3:20 - 4:30.
  • Premier boys basketball team please meet in room 109 at 12:30 for a quick meeting.
  • Reminder to anyone that wants to order a sewing kit from Mrs. Nessel to please bring down their form and money today. If you wanted to order a kit and forgot to bring your money please go talk to Mrs. Nessel. All sewing  and textile students need their supplies for next week.
  • Reminder that the home ec room is open every morning and select days after school for anyone that wants to come in and finish projects. All projects are due at the end of the month.
  • Optional Junior High homework room - today 3:20 until 4 rm 103, tomorrow 7:45 - 8:15 am in the home ec rm.
  • Rabbit Hill Ski club - If you are planning on skiing next Wednesday night your money and forms are due by Friday, Jan. 24.
  • Marmot Basin trip - Now taking money and forms for bus #2.
  • DIY Club is running Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
  • SWAT - students performing in the skit are asked to meet in the library conference room at noon.

  • Day 5
  • 80’s day today!
  • The music room is open for practice today; today is open band practice.
  • Band members are reminded to hand in their practice sheets for December. Please get yours signed and handed in by the end of the month.
  • Band members planning to play a solo, duet, trio or quartet at the Leduc Music Festival are also reminded their forms and payment are due today.
  • Congratulations to the Premier Boys Basketball Team on a solid win in the opening game of their season.  Next week they host Coloniale so come on out and cheer them on.
  • Another congratulations goes out to the district boys.  They played great in their loss to a much older and bigger team.
  • Congratulations to the District Girls Basketball Team, who had a great first game, but ended up losing in overtime.  
  • Great job to the Premier girls, you put forth a great effort! Reminder you have practice Monday morning at 7:20.  Don’t be late!!
  • All elementary students who signed up to run in the Edmonton Journal Relay Games, please meet in the gym for a practice at 12:10.
  • If you want a badminton racquet by Monday, make sure to get your money in to Mr. Mistol today.
  • Jasper Ski Trip update. - The first bus is sold out. Registration forms and money are now being taken for a second bus. Bus #2 will be on sale until Feb. 10. Please get your money and form in to reserve your seat on the second bus. Please see Mrs. Nessel if you have any questions.
  • Leduc County Ski & Snowboard Experience, Saturday, February 8th. Information sheets available in the office.
  • Home ec students - Classy threads orders and money are due on Monday. If you are planning on purchasing a kit please get your order form and money to Mrs. Nessel.
  • The Home ec room is still open for anyone that wants to work on projects. 7:30 am or select days after school.
  • This is a reminder for the Science Olympians that we will again meet on Tuesday at 3:20

  • Don’t forget...80’s Theme Day is tomorrow!!
  • All district boys need to meet in the gym at the morning break to receive their jerseys.
  • There will be a district girls’ meeting today in room 112 at 12:30 to get our jerseys and announce captains.  See you then!
  • Premier boys basketball players please meet in Mr. Slade’s room at 12:30 for a quick, but important meeting.  Your transportation forms are needed before the game today so please see Mr. Slade if you have them.
  • Premier girls - practice at 12:10 in the gym.
  • Mini Boys basketball today at lunch.
  • Good luck to all of the basketball players in their first league games tonight.

  • District Girls are also practicing tomorrow morning at 7:15. Any girls who have their permission forms are asked to hand them in to Mrs. Verhoeff this morning.

  • The School Spirit class has planned a 80’s theme day for this Friday! Think big hair, bright colours and crazy patterns!

  • Milk Monday starts today. Teachers are asked to please send a runner to pick up their class milk. Students are asked to rinse out their empty milk containers and put into their classroom bins. There will be a few extra milk for sale, so if you would like to buy one, please come to the music room at lunch. $1.50 for a small. $2.50 for a large.
  • Outdoor Ed students are reminded to bring their scuba diving forms, along with their school permission form and payment to class this morning.
  • Pink Shirt day orders are due today. Teachers please tally your envelopes and submit to the office first thing this morning.  They are going to be counted period 5.
  • Reminder that there is a Science Olympics meeting tomorrow at 3:20 in room 109.
  • Mr. Slade’s tech ed students that have their CyberBully permission forms, please hand in ASAP.
