Grade 8’s: Reminder that Outsiders Day is Thursday
Attention band students: Your last practice sheet of the year is due this Friday. The announcements have been saying June 15th, but it is actually this Friday, June 12th. Please get yours signed and handed in.
Lunch time and before school music room practices are done for the year, but the Year End Band and Choir concert is still happening! It is this Thursday night from 7-8pm. Jazz band members are to be at the school by 6:15. All other band and choir members are to be here by 6:30pm. Please get your instrument & music and meet in the gym once you arrive. There will be an option to make a donation to the Thaddeus Lake Music Foundation, so bring a loonie or toonie if you want to make a contribution.
...And because of the concert, PE teachers are reminded that the gym will be used for concert set up and practice Thursday lunch and afternoon.
The talent show MC’s and Bandit crew are reminded that this Thursday will be your lunch date with Mrs. Baron in the music room.
Choir members, and their choir buddies, are reminded to hand in their permission forms. These forms are due by Friday….and there will be a very quick meeting for all choir members today at 12:05. Please come to the music room before heading outside.
Friday is fast approaching so if you want to cherish these young, adolescent years then you better order a yearbook pronto! Colour yearbooks are $30 and can be ordered online by your parents or with cash through your homeroom teacher. At the very least, it gives you a picture of Mr. Mistol to draw a moustache on.
The last lunchtime Pokemon Club of the year is today in Mr. Bohun’s room. This Thursday will also be the last after school Pokemon Club of the year. Don’t miss out!
Reminder to all home ec students that ALL projects are due this Friday. The room is open every morning at 7:30am for students that want to complete projects. A few students still owe Mrs. Nessel equipment - Please hand these items in as soon as possible.

There have been a large number of slurpee cups and straws on the playground area the past few weeks, so students are reminded to please use the garbage bins.
Mrs. Baron’s active living students are reminded to change into your gym clothes for class today.
Please change during the morning break, so you are not late for class.
Computer applications students please come to room 109 to begin class.

A big thank you to all the performers from the talent show yesterday, as well as to our amazing MC’s, who did a fantastic job hosting the show. Another big thanks to the staff and students who helped set up and take down and finally to Mr. Slade and the Bandit crew for their help with auditions and the techie side of the show! All your help was greatly appreciated.
