There will be a premier boys volleyball practice after school today. District Boys volleyball practice at 12:10 today. The District Boys have their first league game tomorrow after school here at the school.

Congratulations to all the participants in the Run for the Cure.  We had a great morning and all students, staff, and parents represented JE well.  Mr. Slade, Miss Haylett, Mrs. Slade, Mrs. Forest, and Mrs. Duru thank you all for your incredible enthusiasm and effort!

All runners who will be competing in Saturday’s race, please hand in your permission forms as soon as possible.  If you are interested in the race and do not have a permission form, please come and see Mme McCallion in room 113 today.  There will be a practice tomorrow after school.

September theory and practice was due last week, but many are not handed in yet. Please get yours signed and handed in this week!

Due to the large number of students who signed up for choir there are going to be three choirs this year. Noon hour practices are now as follows. Grade 6, 7, 8 Choir on Tuesday at 12:25, Grade 5 choir on Wednesday at 12:10 and Grade 4 Choir on Thursdays at 12:10. and Jazz Band on Fridays at 12:25. It would be helpful if all classroom teachers left a reminder on their whiteboard of these practices to help students remember when to come. So again, Grade 6, 7, 8 Choir on Tuesday at 12:25, Grade 5 choir on Wednesday at 12:10 and Grade 4 Choir on Thursdays at 12:10. and Jazz Band on Fridays at 12:25.

Any band students who have their Whistler forms are reminded to hand them in to Mrs. Baron this week please. Any choir students who have their permission form are also asked to hand in to Mrs. Baron this week as well.

Powerschool passwords for junior high students were mailed home on Friday.

Hot lunch orders are due Friday.
