Please welcome Manjit Korotana.  She is an Educational Assistant and will be working with the junior high classes.

Special welcome to Mrs. MacKey who will be working with the 5A students today and tomorrow on a special netbook project.

Don’t forget that Christmas Theme Day is Thursday, so wear your best Christmas hats, socks, sweaters or anything that’s red or green!

Final District girls basketball tryouts, tomorrow at 7:30.  Please make sure you are on time!

Would all premier boys basketball players please meet in room 109 at 12:30 for a very quick meeting.

This year’s Speech Arts competition to be held April 8th – April 15th, 2013. Students who are interested in participating can pick up a parent permission form from Mme Marshall’s classroom (room 116). Permission forms MUST be returned no later than Wednesday, December 19th – no exceptions.

The first order of badminton rackets is due on Wednesday.  If you would like one before Christmas, please bring your money in to Mr. Mistol.

Attention all BHA students!  The upstairs group will be going to the LRC today.  You are to meet and wait in Mr. Slade’s boot-room at 12:40pm with a change of gym clothes and indoor running shoes. The downstairs group will be on the ice today.

Choir members are reminded of their COMBINED practice today at 12:10 in the music room. ALL members must attend this important final practice in preparation for your concert tomorrow night.

Band members are reminded to hand in their December theory and practice by Friday please. If you are leaving early for Christmas vacation, please hand in before you go

Today is Milk Monday. Teachers are asked to please send a runner to pick up their classroom milk at the beginning of their lunch times. Teachers and students are also reminded to return all the empty milk cartons to the yellow bin before bringing the bin back to the pickup area. These cartons do not go into the green classroom recycle bin, but back into the yellow bin please!

Band and choir members are reminded of their concert tomorrow night at 7pm. Concert dress is black, green, red or white and students are to arrive at the school by 6:30 pm. Band members head to their designated classroom and choir members head to the choir risers in the gym.

Spelling Bee finals are today after school in Miss Girard’s room.

The Leadership students will be selling candygrams today and tomorrow at lunch for 25 cents each. They will be handed out this Thursday!
