ALL Home Ec. projects and booklets are due to be handed in NEXT Thursday, June 13th. If you require any assistance or extra time, Mrs. Slade will be available Monday’s and Wednesday’s at lunch.

Yearbook orders are due this Friday. The cost is $30 for a Colour Yearbook and $15 for a Black and White Yearbook.

All BHA students need to meet in the gym at the recess break for a brief meeting.

Congratulations to our Jr. High Track and Field competitors.  They did a great job representing J.E. Lapointe and Blackgold at zones in St. Albert yesterday. The talent show is today at 1pm.   There will be a dress rehearsal for everyone performing starting period 5 in the gym, so all performers are asked to go to the gym with their lunch and anything they need for the talent show at the start of period 5.

Leduc Music Festival solos, duets and quartet are reminded of their performance at the St. Vital Senior Centre today. Please meet Mrs. Baron at the front of the school with your instrument and music by 10 am. Teachers please release students 10 minutes early to get their instrument and music.

Our year end BAND CONCERT is this tomorrow night starting at 7pm. Band members in grade 6, 7, & 8, along with the jazz band are asked to be at the school by 6:30pm for tuning wearing concert dress black and white.

Congratulations to the elementary Track students who ran some fantastic races yesterday!  All of the students represented J.E. Lapointe very well.  Thanks to all of the parents who came to help out and also to Mrs. Kuny, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Flontek and Mme Tonita.  Also – a big thank you to the Jr. High helpers who did an excellent job running the ball throw station.

There will be NO Code Club today due to early dismissal.
