1	Today is “Dress Down to Build others Up” Friday when staff members wear school or more casual clothing and donate money to others in need.
2	Congratulations to the Premier girls on a great finish to their basketball season last night.  They defeated Coloniale to win bronze  - Great effort ladies and thanks for a great season.
3	Talk Club, Newcomer’s Group and the block 6 Boys group will all be meeting today at thier regular time in the library conference room.
4	All students who are participating in the Journal Games tomorrow, please meet Mme McCallion right after announcements.  This is very important.
5	The SWAT team will not be meeting today due to PIE DAY activities.
6	The FAVE challenge (Fruit and Vegetable Eating Challenge) begins Monday. Your mission is to track how many servings of fruits and vegetables you eat for one week. The class with the highest overall average will be given complimentary passes to the Beaumont Aqua-Fit. Details and tracking sheets will be found in your Report Card Envelope.
7	All Homec projects are due today.  Any projects not turned in today will receive a zero.  If you have a project you are working on please see Mrs. Nessel.
8	Congratulations to the Premier Boys basketball team on a great season.  They lost a close game last night and won the silver medal.  Your coaches are very proud of you.   Congratulations also goes out to the district boys for winning bronze last night!  Great job on an outstanding season.
9	This is a big day for your math teachers!  It’s like Christmas for math nerds!  It is the third month and the fourteenth day.  That’s 3.14,  Happy Pi Day to everyone.
10	Badminton try-outs for boys and girls will continue on Monday.  A list of students will be up at the end of the day for those continuing on in the try-out process.
11	Jazz band practice at noon for any members that are not in the gym throwing or watching pies being thrown
12	Today we are having the 2nd Annual Pi Day Pie Throw. Elementary and Junior High Students can come to the gym at lunch and watch teachers get hit in the face with pies!
13	Jr. High band members are reminded to hand in their Band fundraiser forms and payment to Mrs. Baron today. Please Don’t forget to hand it in!
