Day 4

1	Noon hour music room practices continue this week; Today - jazz band Tomorrow- Jr. High choir Friday - open band practice
2	Calling all singers, dancers, musicians, magicians and anyone else with talent. Please see Mrs. Baron if you are interested in signing up for the talent show auditions coming up in May. Sign up ends this Friday, so please see Mrs. Baron before then.
3	Band members are reminded to hand in their March practice sheets. They are due by next Friday.  Band members are also reminded to hand in their Calgary/Banff field trip forms. They are due this Friday.
4	A reminder that the Sweet Night of Music concert has had to be cancelled. If you returned a form, please be sure to tell your parents the concert is not taking place this Friday after all.
5	A “hockey themed” wallet has been turned in, please come to the office to claim.
6	The badminton team picture and banner signing will happen tomorrow at noon.  Please bring your team shirt.
7	Attention Grade 8 girls... Mrs. Baron is looking for some young women to sing at the Grade 8 farewell. A few girls have said they would sing, but only if a few more came forward to sing with them, so if you are interested in singing with this group for farewell, come and see Mrs. Baron today at first recess break.
8	Pokemon Club is running today after school in the Tech Ed. New students are welcome to join.  Bring your pocket protectors.
9	The Science Fair is fast approaching, only 9 days left.  Are you ready?
10	All elementary students who are interested in participating in the Devon Track Meet, please sign up by the gym.  This would be for students who are interested in running in relay races, as well as competing in Ball Throw and Running Long Jump.  Also, there will be a high Jump practice Thursday after school.
