Speech Arts students: Ms Colquhoun will be in Mme Marshall’s classroom (rm 104) tomorrow and Wednesday (Dec 9th and 10th) during the lunch break to help you make your selection or selections for the competition.

All premier boys and girls, mini boys and girls, and those interested in trying out for the district teams, please see the calendar of gym times over the next two weeks.  It is located on the athletics board.

Mrs. Baron needs to see the choir members in the music room. Teachers are asked to please let the choir students go now. Please do not make them wait until recess break or lunch break. If you have your permission form for Wednesday, please bring it along as well.

Band and choir members are reminded that the Christmas concert is this Thursday night. Students arrive and doors open at 6:30pm with the concert starting at 7pm. Please dress in black, white, red or green.

There are two combined band practices this week to help prepare for the upcoming concert. These combined practices will take place in the music room, so please listen carefully and remember to come.

Tomorrow is the combined grade 7 band practice during periods 4 & 5. Grade 8 trumpets are also requested to attend this combined practice, so please remember to have your instrument at school tomorrow.

Thursday is the combined practice for all grade 6 band members during periods 4 & 5.

The Christmas Elves competition may as well be over.  Mr. Slade’s class has brought in even more donations, moving their total points up to 14 753.  almost the amount of teddy bears thrown on the ice last oil kings game ;)  Madame Stewart’s class has 26 points.  Donations are due on Thursday!

Reminder: District girl’s basketball tryouts today at 3:15pm - There will be a sign up sheet posted on the athletics board at lunch. District boys will be tomorrow after school- there will also be a sign up sheet on the board after the break.

Debate Club: First meeting will be held tomorrow at 12:25 pm in room 123 - please come if you are interested.
