SWAT will be meeting on every Tuesday in Room 122 at 12:14. Please bring your lunch with you.

Congrats to the Senior Boys’ volleyball team for winning the Bronze medal at the LJH tournament this weekend.  There will be  a senior boys volleyball practice after school.

Congratulations also to the senior girl’s volleyball team, who played extremely well all weekend!

We need a name for our new SABRES mascot!  Enter the name the mascot contest by submitting an entry with your mascot name, your name and homeroom. Entry box is located in the main office. Prizes for the winner.

Last chance for anyone interested in signing up to help Ms Jensen with the drama production for the Remembrance Day ceremony.  Please sign up outside of the drama room - room 105 by the end of today.  There will be a short meeting after school tomorrow.

Any students interested in helping out with the Remembrance Day Ceremony should see Mrs. Baron today over the lunch hour. This would include anyone wanting to speak as an MC, anyone who wants to read poetry in English or French, any Cadets that are willing to march in the wreath or any dancers that would like to perform.

FLEX IS OPEN!!! thanks to those of you that have been signing up carefully.  If you are signing up for a 2 block session you must sign up for both blocks! if you are unable to sign up on your own, please come to the library at 12:34 today.  Also, Mr. Slade has added another form for you to complete.  If you are interested in suggesting music for our Halloween Activity afternoon, find the link below the FLEX pages on the school site.

Today is Milk Monday. Chocolate milk will be available for $1, so come on down to the band room over the lunch hour and buy yourself a milk. For those of you who buy a milk today, please remember to rinse out the carton before putting it in the green bin. If there are any left over from today’s sales, they will be sold each day at lunch until they are gone. So if you forgot to bring your loonie today, bring one tomorrow.

French Band (Grade 8-9) practice will start tomorrow after school and Thursday at recess in the band room.
