There is a Vimy Ridge meeting at the high school today  the 9th at 3:30 for the students who are going.

The final badminton team will be posted on the athletic board by the end of the day.  There will be a very important team meeting in the during the morning break tomorrow.  Practices start on Monday.

Congratulations to the Premier Boys Basketball team on a huge win in the semi finals last night.  After being down by 19 in the first half, the boys showed their character and came back to win by 14!  An amazing effort all around boys!  Mr. Slade is now a little more bald and Mr. Mistol is just little. The practice planned for lunch today has been switched to tomorrow at lunch so enjoy your day off!

Congratulations also goes out to your Bronze medal winning Senior Boys Basketball team... JE Lapointe defeated Clear Vista last night 74 to 62 in their final game of the season. The Sabres lead the game from the tip-off scoring early and often. Leading scorer Nyasha Mubayiwa put up 33 points in the victory, but also had key support with 8 other players finding the bottom of the net. Mr. Leeb is very proud of each member of the team and thanks all the scorekeepers and fans who came out to the games this year. Go Sabres!

Reminder to everyone who signed up for Auditions after school today for Hoodie.  Please be on time for your rehearsal and don’t forget to have your pink information sheet with you.  If you haven’t signed up to audition there are still a few spots open to do so.  Break a leg!

Attention Jazz Band members! Your jazz band practice time has changed. Your practice this week will be tomorrow morning at 7:30am, NOT Friday as announced. This will be a combined jazz band practice, so the junior and senior jazz members can practice for festival. This is an important jazz band prep for festival, so all jazz band members must attend. So don’t forget, tomorrow morning at 7:30am is a combined jazz band practice.

Pi Day is this coming Monday! If you would like to throw a pie at a teacher, you can buy one for 2 dollars, with all the money raised going to the Leduc Food Bank. Pies will be sold in Mr. Bohun’s room during lunch all week. Remember, no limits this year, buy as many as you want but there will only be 200 pies sold!
