Band and choir members are reminded of the following music room practices this week; Today – Combined choir practice for all members Tomorrow –Open band practice Thursday – Whistler band practice Friday – Jazz Band

Whistler Band members are asked to bring their lunch to the music room at 12:10 on THURSDAY, as we are going to play, then eat after the practice. Please also write this in your agenda and on your classroom board, so you remember to come for this very important practice.

All students who have submitted their volunteer forms for the Ronald McDonald house must meet in the library at 12:30.

Code Club is cancelled tomorrow because of early dismissal.

Outdoor Ed students going on the field trip are reminded to be at school by 7:30 tomorrow morning. The bus is leaving by 7:45 so please do not be late. If you have any questions about the trip, please see Mrs. Baron before leaving school today

Franco Challenge – Défi franco Two brothers were trying to float bags made of paper and fabric. When the brothers held a flame near the opening at the bottom, the bag expanded with hot air and floated upward.  This led to the invention of Hot air balloons in France in 1783.  Who are the inventors of the hot air balloon? Deux frères essayaient de faire flotter des sacs faits de papier et de tissus.  Quand ils ont placé une flamme près de l’ouverture, ils ont remarqué que le sac pouvait flotter et que le sac montait. Conséquemment, les montgolfières ont été inventées en France en 1783.  Qui a inventé les montgolfières?
